Webex Configuration Instructions


Webex Instructions

1.  Install Webex from the UT Software Center.  Search for Webex, click the Webex icon, and click install

2.  Once installed, open Webex.  The Webex sign in screen will appear.

If you are an employee, you will need to type first.last@utoledo.edu.  If you are a student, you will need to type first.last@rockets.utoledo.edu. Click Next.

3.  The single sign-on prompt comes up and you will log in with your UTAD username and password and then click Sign in.

4.  Once signed in, look at the bottom for an error saying "Phone services are disconnected".  Click on Open Settings.

5.  Your username should be pre-populated in the box shown below.  Type in your UTAD username and Password and click Sign in.

6.  Initial connectivity to phone service can take up to one minute; you will see two green checkmarks as confirmation once it is ready to use.

UT Owned and Managed Devices

  • Windows workstation - open UT's Software Center (located on your desktop).  Select Webex to install.
  • Mac workstation - open Self-service (application in Mac OS) and select Webex to install.
